AIBI (American Indian Bible Institute) is a Bible training organization whose focus is the development of Godly leaders who are equipped to train others to: REACH - TEACH - TRAIN - SEND Evangelism (Reaching)Edification (Teaching) A statement of our purpose Our purpose: Our vision of ministry: ======================================================= How did AIBI Resources get started? American Indian Bible Institute (AIBI) was established
in 1966 to provide training to Christian Native Americans in order to
establish a Biblical leadership development team on every reservation
and in every urban area. The Bible Institute has developed a variety
of leadership training programs to strengthen churches. Students have
gone out from the Bible Institute to serve the Lord on reservations
and in urban areas in at least ten states. AIBI Resources was established to provide these training resources to all people groups around the world by utilizing the internet, and computer based medium that are often more available and easier to use than any other way to distribute materials. AIBI Resources provides Bible training materials in diagram, outline and manual form. The focus of all of the materials is to help develop biblically based maturing believers and church leadership. ======================================================= What format are these resources provided in? Resources are available in different media forms – print, CDRom and through the World Wide Web or Internet. New methods are continually being developed. ======================================================= How much do these resources cost? AIBI has taken the position that all of the materials are available at no cost to those individuals or organizations seeking to use them. Donations from individuals who appreciate this ministry are accepted and appreciated however to help defray the cost of making them available to others. ======================================================= Will there be any more manuals or updates? This website is continually changing. There are manuals, diagrams, translated materials always being added. ======================================================= What about copyrights on the training materials? Although the materials available through AIBI Resources are copyrighted you have permission to print, reproduce or otherwise copy any or all materials in their entirety for the purpose of personal or corporate study. Any reproduction of material for resale or profit is strictly prohibited. ======================================================= What is the World Wide Web and how does it benefit the distribution of the training materials? The World Wide Web or Internet as it’s also called, is a network or large group of connected computers that allow others to share information. The Internet allows information to be made available simultaneously worldwide. One way that AIBI utilizes this resource is by recognizing that the cost of printing one set of manuals and shipping a box across the country used to be over $100 per set. It is now done electronically with minimal expense through the internet. ======================================================= Are the materials only in English? NO, several of the manuals and diagrams have already been translated into Spanish. There have been requests for other languages as well. Please pray with us as the Lord continues to open the doors, and that the laborers of the harvest will come forward to help translate, proof and edit the AIBI Resources materials into other languages. ======================================================= Who translates the material? There are individuals around the world, possibly just like you, that are using the materials themselves and see the need for this material to be available for the language group that they are ministering in. Some see this as a ministry to reach out to others. These individuals are working together as a team. Some make a first draft translation, others edit, others proof; all serve the same Lord with a common goal of providing Biblical training resources worldwide. ======================================================= How can I help translate? We have had contacts from all over the world. Many are using these resources to help plant churches and develop Biblical leadership within their existing churches. There have been 15 releases of the CDs since AIBI Resources began in 2000. There have been thousands of copies of the CDRoms made available for distribution worldwide. Many have been hand carried to several of the now over 65 countries that are using the CDs to further their training. ======================================================= What are some of the statistics of those who visited the website? Since beginning in January of 2000, there have been visitors from over 135 countries including many that are otherwise closed to the Gospel of Christ. There have been thousands of Bible training manuals downloaded worldwide. There are dozens of other ministry websites who have made direct links to the AIBI Resources website for their visitors. Glad you asked—First of all, you can PRAY. Pray for wisdom as the materials are developed. Pray for means to translate these resources. Pray for the Lord to provide partners in this ministry.
